Community Care Inc. has been serving individuals with disabilities (primarily Mental Retardation and Mental Illness as well as other disabilities) for over 20 years, as they move toward greater independence.

CCI offers quality services to persons with disabilities in the following Iowa counties: Clinton, Jackson, Jones, Scott, Marion and Chickasaw. And today, over 600 individuals receive CCI services, in one of 9 different programs.

Residential Care Facility for Persons with Mental Illness (RCF/PMI) The Residential Care Facility for Persons with Mental Illness program offers a full assortment of services both in-house and through local community resources to adults with cognitive disabilities who require licensed residential treatment services. Residential Care Facility (RCF) The Residential Care Facility is a community-integrated program offering services to adults with disabilities requiring licensed residential treatment services needed to avoid transfer to a more restrictive environment and to prepare for advancement to a more normalized and less restrictive community living arrangement.

Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Home and Community Based Services offer Individuals with disabilities under the Mental Retardation (MR) Medicaid Waiver and the Brain Injury (BI) Waiver funding and individualized support so as to maintain a level of independence in their own homes or communities. Community Employment Services (CCI Industries) Community Employment Services offers job development to persons with disabilities. CCI is there to help the Individuals with on-the-job support and assist with job coaching. Organizational Employment Services (CCI Industries) Organizational Employment Services are designed to provide paid work to the persons served in locations owned, leased, rented or managed by the service provider. Home Health Care (HHC) Home Health Care assists individuals as they reach the fullest extent of their potential in the least restrictive environment. HHC assists Individuals as they complete their personal cares/activities of daily living in their own homes. Supported Community Living (SCL) Supported Community Living programs and services enhance and promote an Individual’s ability to function within the community. SCL services are provided to Individuals in their own homes or in their own apartment. Intermediate Care Facility for Persons with Mental Retardation (ICF/MR) The Intermediate Care Facility for Persons with Mental Retardation integrates programs and services through local community resources, to mentally retarded/developmentally disabled/brain injured adults needing intense training and/or medical monitoring.
